Personal info

Save your name, address and other details so Field Assist can use them without ever sending them.

Field Assist is most useful when it can sign your emails and fill in your address. On the Personal Info page you save those details once. Aha swaps each one for a placeholder before anything leaves your Mac, so the AI model writes {{home_address}}, and Aha puts the real address in locally.

Add your details

  1. Open Personal Info Choose Open Aha in the menu bar menu, then Personal Info in the sidebar.
  2. Add a detail Click a suggestion such as Full name, First name, Email, Phone, Home address, Birthday, Company or Job title, or add your own with any label.
  3. Enter the value Type the value. It’s hidden by default; click the eye to show it.

Each detail gets a placeholder made from its label: “Home address” becomes {{home_address}}, “Email” becomes {{email}}. You’ll see it next to the label.

How it works

  1. Before anything is sent Every saved value that appears in the field, the window title, nearby text or your instructions is replaced by its placeholder.
  2. The model writes placeholders It’s told which details exist, by label only, never their values, and writes {{email}} wherever your email belongs.
  3. Filled in on your Mac Aha puts the real values back in before the text appears in your field.

For example, type “reply with my address and phone so they can send the package” in an email and press ⌘.. The model only ever sees {{home_address}} and {{phone}}, yet the preview shows your real address and number.

Stays on this Mac

Details are kept in your Mac’s Keychain, not in Aha’s settings file. They’re never synced, never logged and never sent to Aha’s service or the AI provider.

How matching works

  • Whole values only. Aha replaces a detail only where the whole value appears. A first name of “Sam” isn’t taken out of “Samsung”.
  • Case and spacing don’t matter. Capitals, line breaks, commas and semicolons between words are treated alike, so an address split over two lines still matches.
  • Save parts separately. If you sometimes type just your street without the city, save the street as its own detail too.
  • Very short values are skipped. A value needs at least two characters to be protected.

Names are never corrected

Words from your saved details are added to the correction dictionary automatically, so Aha won’t “fix” an unusual name or street. The Dictionary page also offers quick-add buttons for names from Personal Info.

Your first name from Personal Info is also how the Home page greets you.

Check what was sent

Settings › Privacy shows the last Field Assist request exactly as it was sent, placeholders included. It’s the easiest way to confirm a detail was protected.

Remove a detail

Click the minus button next to a detail to delete it from the Keychain.
